Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout (Orthopaedics)

In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional patient-centred care across both the scrub and scouting personas, ensuring seamless theatre operations and strict adherence to ACORN standards. Working collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and the wider multidisciplinary team, you will anticipate surgical needs, maintain impeccable sterile fields, and advocate for patient safety at every stage of the perioperative journey. Whether you are managing complex instrumentation or coordinating the circulating environment, your clinical expertise will directly impact positive patient outcomes.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Current registration with AHPRA (Registered Nurses)
• 2 years minimum current acute hospital Orthopaedic Scrub/Scout experience
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Exceptional customer service skills
• The flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster
• Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth.
