About the Role
ALS Tribology in Wetherill Park is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join a great team that strives to exceed customer expectations by delivering quality results on time.

Working in the Oil & Lubricants laboratory you will be responsible for the analytical testing of oil and fuel samples ensuring timely and quality results are produced for the analysis of heavy mining equipment and machinery oils.

While you'll need some formal qualifications such as a relevant TAFE Certificate or Diploma in laboratory skills, we're willing to train you in everything else if you bring your dedication and willingness to learn. You'll be rewarded with development opportunities, and all the support you need to be successful in a career in Tribology.

We value safety, teamwork and reliability and the successful candidate needs to be engaged and open to all learning opportunities. Extensive training on our instrumentation and procedures will be provided.

This is a permanent, full-time position, Monday to Friday.

On a typical day you'll be:

• Performing chemical and physical testing of oil, fuel and coolant samples
• Entering, updating and maintaining sample and test data
• Undertaking activities and responsibilities as instructed by the Laboratory Manager
