Are you technically minded, enjoy working with your hands and looking to build a career in the electronic security industry?

Tecsec is looking for a Junior Security Technician to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who wants to develop practical skills across CCTV, access control, alarm and intercom systems while working alongside experienced security technicians.

You don't need to know everything from day one. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and an interest in technology. We'll provide the support and hands-on experience to help you develop into a capable security technician.

About you

We're looking for someone who is reliable, practical and keen to build a long-term career in the security industry.

Ideally, you will have:

• A genuine interest in electronics, security systems or technology

• Good practical and problem-solving skills

• Basic computer and networking knowledge

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Strong attention to detail

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• A current Australian driver's licence

• The ability to obtain the required security industry licences for the role

Previous experience with CCTV, alarms, access control, data cabling, electrical work or IT/networking would be an advantage, but is not essential for the right candidate.

School leavers, trade assistants, junior technicians and candidates looking to begin a career in electronic security are encouraged to apply.
