Restoration Technician

Role Description The Restoration Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Truganina, VIC. This role involves responding to water damage and other restoration emergencies, performing assessments, and implementing mitigation and restoration procedures in line with company standards. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and monitoring drying equipment, removing affected materials, cleaning and sanitizing impacted areas, and documenting work performed. The Restoration Technician collaborates with team members, communicates with clients on-site, follows safety protocols, and ensures that projects are completed efficiently and to a high quality. The role may require flexible hours and occasional after-hours or weekend work to support emergency calls.
Qualifications

Demonstrated skills in water-related restoration, including Water Damage and Water Damage Restoration.Experience with mitigation practices, including damage assessment, containment, and Mitigation planning.Awareness of environmental concerns, including managing or identifying Invasive Species in affected areas.Strong Communication skills for working with clients, team members, and supervisors on-site.Previous experience in restoration, cleaning, construction, or facility management is highly beneficial.Ability to perform physical tasks, operate restoration equipment, and adhere to safety and hygiene standards.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach work sites in and around Truganina, VIC.Relevant certifications in restoration, water damage, or occupational health and safety are an advantage.
