Tech Support Administrator

At Beaumont Tiles, technology plays a critical role in supporting our national network of stores, distribution centres and support teams. We're looking for a customer-focused Technology Support Administrator to join our ICT team and become the first point of contact for technical support across the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, providing exceptional customer service, and working across a broad range of technology platforms and systems. 

What you'll be doing:

• Providing first-level ICT support via phone, email and digital channels for team members across the business.  
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, mobile device and system issues.  
• Installing, configuring and maintaining computers, software and IT equipment.  
• Monitoring and responding to incoming support requests and incidents.  
• Supporting Microsoft 365 environments, user accounts and business applications.  
• Assisting with system upgrades, deployments, updates and hardware replacements.  
• Maintaining support documentation and escalating complex issues when required.  
• Participating in an after-hours support roster on a rotating basis. 

About you 

You enjoy helping people, can explain technical issues in a simple way, and take pride in delivering excellent service. You'll be a proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is always looking to learn and improve. 

To be successful, you'll have: 

• Experience in an IT support, service desk or technology administration role. 
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.  
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11, Mac, Apple and Android devices.  
• Exposure to Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online and OneDrive.  
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD and general networking concepts.  
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.  
• The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
