Banking Analyst

About the role

The candidate will act as a first point of contact for Institutional Banking (IB) clients, managing Transaction Banking queries and requirements. This includes handling calls (onsite team), emails and enquiries raised via customer portals, to ensure seamless support across a wide range of Transactional Banking products such as Corporate Cards, Transactional Accounts, Payments, Merchant Services and CommBiz. The role focuses on supporting IB clients across the entire life cycle – from onboarding and implementation to ongoing servicing and experience enhancement. The candidate is expected to build strong client relationships by understanding client needs, industry context, and long-term objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client queries via calls, emails, and digital channels, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to risks, compliance and control requirements in all activities
• Apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve client issues effectively
• Communicate clearly and concisely, providing relevant and actionable information
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
• Take ownership of tasks and proactively contribute to performance improvement

About you

• 0 - 3 years of experience in business banking, transactional banking clients or products or contact center operations
• Detail oriented with extreme attention to details; thorough, accurate, organized, and productive
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Customer-focused mindset with a collaborative and service-oriented approach
• Self-motivated, result driven, and proactive
• Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and critical thinking
