Lead Junior Coach

Ringwood Swimming Club (RSC) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Lead Junior Coach to work alongside our Head Coach in leading the club’s Junior Stream program.

RSC has a strong focus on developing young swimmers through a structured pathway from development squads through to competitive age-group swimming. Our Junior Stream is a vital part of this pathway, with a strong emphasis on building exceptional technical skills, race awareness and good training habits.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the club by delivering high-quality coaching across our junior squads, fostering athlete development, and preparing swimmers for progression into our performance program.

With excellent facilities, an experienced and driven Head Coach, and a supportive Committee, this is an excellent opportunity for a coach who is passionate about athlete development, performance and building a strong junior pathway.

Our objective is to develop technically sound, resilient, disciplined and competitive swimmers through a structured, high-quality program, while building one of Victoria's leading competitive swimming clubs.

RSC is based out of Aquanation, Ringwood and operates, in conjunction with Maroondah Leisure, out of the following nearby located aquatic and gym facilities:

• Aquanation, Ringwood: 10 lane 50m indoor pool
• Aquahub, Croydon: 8 lane 25m indoor pool
• Croydon Memorial Pool (seasonal): 8 lane 50m outdoor pool

As Lead Junior Coach, you will work with the Head Coach to design a program that will further develop and guide the swimmers to achieve their goals. You will be directly responsible for the coaching of our junior squads (ages 8-12), with the assistance of our junior coaches, under the guidance of the Head Coach.
