This is not a role where you will simply sit behind a desk. You will be actively involved in the day-to-day performance of the department, supporting the Sales Manager, leading and motivating the team and continuing to sell vehicles yourself.

The Opportunity

Working closely with the Sales Manager, you will play an important role in driving the performance and success of the department.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Sales Manager with the day-to-day operation of the department

• Actively selling vehicles and achieving your own sales targets

• Assisting, coaching and motivating the sales team to achieve their targets

• Helping create a high-performance, positive and customer-focused sales environment

• Supporting the management of leads, enquiries and sales opportunities

• Ensuring outstanding customer service throughout the sales process

• Assisting with deal management and helping the team maximise every opportunity

• Leading by example and demonstrating the behaviours and standards expected from the team

• Stepping up and taking responsibility when required

• Continuing to develop your leadership and management capability

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with a minimum of two years' automotive sales experience who is ready to build on their experience and continue progressing their career.

Previous experience as an Assistant Sales Manager, 2IC, Senior Sales Consultant or similar leadership position within an automotive dealership will be highly regarded.
