Field Service Technician (Newcastle)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join team based in Newcastle. The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing field based support to our customers, working in collaboration with colleagues, to resolve customer affecting technical issues promptly and in line with agreed SLA's.

Please note the role includes some after hours and weekend support when required and regular regional travel.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installing/commissioning and troubleshooting Glory products and equipment;

• Performing preventative maintenance;

• Installing approved software updates;

• Providing technical support in line with agreed SLA's;

• Training customers in the correct use of Glory products and systems;

• Effectively 'debriefing' and reporting of service calls as required;

• Completing administrative tasks promptly and accurately;

• Maintaining a thorough working knowledge or Glory products and systems;

• Being willing and available to provide after hours and weekend support in line with customer requirements.

Favour will be given to candidates with the following skills:

• A recognised technical qualification;

• Current drivers licence;

• 2+ years' experience in a technical field role;

• Proven ability to work independently and meet established deadlines;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

• Proven problem solving and analytical skills;

• Strong customer service orientation;

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations;

• Commercial awareness;

• Demonstrable technical aptitude.
