About the role:
As a Peer Wellbeing Worker, you will bring lived experience of mental health challenges and recovery to the role, fostering trust, empathy, and mutual understanding with participants. You will work from a biopsychosocial recovery model, recognizing the interconnection between biological, psychological, and social factors in the recovery journey.Your role as a Peer Wellbeing Worker, you will work with participants to address key development areas that support establishing appropriate social skills, leadership, decision-making, teamwork, healthy lifestyle, community service, responsibility, self-identity, self-esteem and resilience. A key outcome will be supporting the participant to identify and nurture natural supports that sustain recovery and assist in the development of self-management skills
