We produce high-quality Special High Grade Zinc and Zinc Alloy, along with valuable by-products including Sulfuric Acid, Copper, Cadmium, and Zinc Ferrite. As a valued member of the Sun Metals team, you’ll play a key role in the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of plant equipment to ensure smooth, reliable production. Working in a supportive team environment, you’ll be part of a continuous shift roster (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off), giving you a balanced work-life rhythm while contributing to a high-performing refinery operation.

What We’re Looking For      

We’re seeking motivated individuals who are ready to thrive in a dynamic refinery environment. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• Strong multitasking abilities and the capability to manage priorities in a fast-paced setting
• A team-focused mindset with a commitment to achieving production goals while maintaining high safety and environmental standards
• The confidence and initiative to work independently when required
• A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow with new challenges and technologies
• A proactive attitude with a strong sense of responsibility and pride in your performance
• Clear and effective communication skills—both verbal and written
• Basic computer skills and a readiness to use digital tools in daily operations
• The physical fitness to safely perform manual tasks, including working in hot or dusty environments, climbing ladders, walking on uneven surfaces, and entering confined spaces
• The flexibility to work a continuous shift roster (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off)
• A reliable, punctual approach to work and strong personal accountability

What Will Set You Apart
While not essential, the following qualifications and experience will be highly regarded:

• Previous experience in refining, mining, or other heavy industry environments
• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining fixed plant equipment such as pumps, valves, and conveyors
• Familiarity with autoclave operations and related processing systems
• Possession of High Risk Work Licences, including Forklift (LF), Cabin Gantry Crane (CB), Elevated Work Platform (WP), or Remote Gantry Crane (LBG)
• A high school certificate is preferred; trade qualifications will be considered an advantage
