Chef

Location: PUTNEY, NSW

Salary: $60,001 - $80,000

Job Type: Contract position | Full time position

We are seeking for an experienced chef to start immediately at our busy cafe. Desired skills:  

Cooking skills Time management skills Ability to work under pressure

Ability to work unsupervised Duties and responsibilities:  

Cook and serve food Hire and train new staff as required Prepare rosters

Stock takes and orders kitchen supplies as required Menu planning Monitor quality of foods and ensure the quality of foods are within the statutory requirement

Ensure hygiene is maintained in accordance with the statutory requirement. Ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating, and food costs on an ongoing basis.

Follow good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products at the right temperature Assess quality control and adhere to the service standards of our hotel

Relevant experience and qualifications:   Must have certificate IV in commercial cookery and a minimum of two years of work experience in commercial cookery
