Holistic Child Consultants is a bespoke, child and family-focused practice and an NDIS Registered Provider. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centred support. We are currently seeking a passionate 0.6 FTE Social Worker (with the scope to transition to full-time for the right candidate) to join our team, serving the North Eastern and Western Metro regions of Adelaide.

The Role

As a Social Worker within our practice, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing and development of children and young people and their families.. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Clinical Assessments: Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify children’s needs, strengths, and areas requiring support.
• Individualized Therapy: Developing and implementing tailored therapy plans designed to support unique developmental goals.
• Direct Support: Providing direct, trauma-informed therapy support to children and their families.
• Collaborative Care: Working alongside other professionals to provide a holistic, family-centred approach to care and initiate necessary referrals to mainstream and specialised services
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate and professional client records, including progress reports.

Note: This position requires travel for therapy appointments within the North Eastern and Western Metro regions of Adelaide.

About You

You are a dedicated professional who brings both clinical expertise and a warm, empathetic approach. To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Qualifications: Bachelor or Masters of Social Work degree.
• Registration: Current registration with the appropriate body (AASW membership is required).
• Clinical Approach: Proven experience in providing trauma-informed and neuro-affirming care, utilising holistic and family-centred approaches.
• Communication: Confident oral and written communication skills.
• Expertise: Solid knowledge of NDIS and child protection legislation. (Previous experience working with NDIS participants is preferred but not essential).
• Professionalism: Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, and a team-oriented, collaborative mindset.
• Requirements: A valid driver’s license, access to your own vehicle, a current Working With Children Check and additional checks (RRHAN, NDIS Worker Screening Check)

Pay: $66,382.44 – $110,000.00 per year
