Logistics Analyst

Role DescriptionWe are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to support the planning, optimization, and monitoring of logistics and transportation operations. The role involves analyzing logistics data, evaluating transportation and distribution processes, monitoring operational performance, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality, and cost effectiveness.Key responsibilities include analyzing shipment and transportation data, monitoring delivery performance, tracking logistics KPIs, supporting route and capacity planning, evaluating freight costs, and preparing operational reports. The role also involves identifying inefficiencies, investigating delivery issues, supporting inventory and distribution planning, and collaborating with supply chain, warehouse, procurement, and transportation teams to improve logistics processes.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, distribution, inventory, and supply chain processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, and reporting.Familiarity with ERP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or logistics analytics tools is an advantage.Understanding of logistics KPIs, freight costs, delivery performance, route optimization, and capacity planning.Knowledge of data visualization or reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an advantage.Strong attention to detail and ability to identify operational trends and inefficiencies.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and prepare accurate reports within deadlines.Proactive mindset with a strong interest in process optimization and continuous improvement.
