The Rococo Group is a premier Italian restaurant company with four venues across Melbourne. Our locations in St Kilda, Hawthorn, Point Cook, and Mordialloc are beloved by locals and visitors alike, and we are now seeking a dynamic and experienced Relief Manager to assist in leading our teams and drive operational excellence across all venues.

About the Role

As the Relief Manager, you’ll play a central role in assisting our Operations team with overseeing the day to day operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and assisting in training our teams. This is a hands on role that requires strong leadership, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. It will require working between venues with goals set out by the Operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on the ground operations support across multiple venues as directed by Operations team.

• Step in to lead shifts, manage teams, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations while upholding company systems and procedures

• Assist with staff supervision, training and performance feedback

• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

• Help resolve operational issues, staffing gaps and support to Venue Managers

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations across all venues.

• Demonstrating a strong ability to meet and exceed business KPIs.

• Act as a reliable point of contact between venue teams and the Operations team

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Venue or Assistant Manager in a high-volume venue

• Exceptional people leadership and communication skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment

• Commitment to achieving outstanding results across all areas of the business

• Availability to work across nights, weekends, and public holidays as require​d

• Ability to travel to different locations across Melbourne.
