Civil Estimator

Tracc Civil is an industry leading civil construction and earthmoving company based in Bibra Lake, Western Australia with projects spread throughout the Perth Metropolitan Area.

We are seeking an Civil Estimator to join our Estimating team, where you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of Civil projects, ranging from $500K to $10 million. In collaboration with our talented Estimating team, you will be responsible for providing accurate estimates and contributing to successful tender submissions for various civil works.

Key Requirements:

• Relevant professional qualifications or relevant industry experience

• Proven experience and expertise in estimating within the civil construction industry

• Knowledge and familiarity with earthworks, roadworks, services, sewer, drainage, and private services

• Demonstrated ability to incorporate resource availability, productivity, and materials/subcontractor procurement into estimates

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong negotiation abilities

• Ability to prioritise tasks, effectively manage workload, and meet project deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and assist the Estimating team to produce precise and comprehensive estimates

• Complete and assist Estimating team to complete quantity take off, request for quotes, and compile the submission into a bid

• Liaise and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and resource availability as needed

• Assist and preparation of estimates for a variety of civil projects, including underground works such as water reticulation, sewer systems, drainage, gas, power, and NBN

• Assist in project handover and project variations as needed

• Attend site inspections as required
