About the role
In this role, our ideal Sheetmetal Tradesperson will work on a variety of Brisbane and interstate projects (with LAHA provided), seeing jobs out from workshop to install.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
fabricating/welding stainless steel and mild steel components
producing custom-built items incl. conveyors, chutes, and platforms
reading & interpreting technical drawings/fabrication specs
troubleshooting/working on various projects both on-site & in our workshop
maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
What we're looking for
Full Australian working rights essential
Certificate III in Engineering – Light Fabrication (or in progress)
Trade qualified or apprentice (3rd/4th year) in Sheetmetal, Boilermaking, or Fitting
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sheetmetal fabrication
Construction White Card and valid driver's license
Strong TIG welding skills with MIG/Stick welding experience
Willingness to travel interstate for shutdowns and breakdowns
Ability to read technical drawings and operate press brake/roller equipment.
