Storeman & Senior Storeman (AM shift)

We are currently seeking experienced Store Persons and Senior Store Persons to join our Rocklea Warehouse team on the AM shift.

As a Store Person, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate movement of finished goods and production materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring orders are picked and processed efficiently and on time.

As a Senior Store Person, you will perform the same core warehouse duties while also taking on additional responsibility as the second-in-charge to the Warehouse Team Leader, supporting the team and stepping into additional Team Leader responsibilities when required.

• Picking finished goods and production orders accurately and on time

• Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment safely

• Carrying out stock movements and stocktakes

• Ensuring inventory records remain accurate

• Loading trucks correctly and safely

• Checking products for damage and ensuring the correct product lots are picked

• Maintaining warehouse housekeeping and clear aisles

• Following workplace health and safety, food safety and GMP requirements

• Using RF equipment and warehouse systems

• Reporting delays, damaged or non-conforming product and safety concerns

• Supporting the wider warehouse team to achieve daily targets

• Acting as second-in-charge to the Warehouse Team Leader

• Supporting and coordinating Store Persons and Order Pickers

• Assisting the Team Leader with daily warehouse priorities

• Communicating delays, issues and resolution actions

• Taking on additional Team Leader responsibilities in the Team Leader's absence

• Supporting warehouse performance, inventory accuracy and continuous improvement

• Helping maintain a positive, professional and inclusive team environment

We are looking for reliable and safety-focused warehouse professionals who take pride in their work and have strong attention to detail.

You will ideally have:

• Previous warehouse or stores experience

• A current forklift licence

• Experience using ERP and stock management systems

• Good understanding of warehouse operations and stock control

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

• Ability to organise and prioritise your workload

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

• Understanding of food safety and warehouse GMP requirements

• A positive and reliable attitude

For the Senior Store Person position, previous experience in a senior warehouse, leading hand or 2IC role will be highly regarded. The Senior Store Person position also requires the ability to take ownership, support others and know when to escalate issues or seek direction.
