About the role
Rockville State School is seeking a reliable and proactive Schools Officer, Grounds and Facilities to help maintain a safe, welcoming and well-presented learning environment.
Working under the direction of the Principal and Business Manager, you will undertake a range of routine grounds and maintenance duties, ensuring school facilities, outdoor areas and equipment are kept to a high standard.
This hands-on role suits someone who takes pride in their work, can follow instructions, work independently on day-to-day tasks, and contribute positively to our school community.
Please note that duties do not include work requiring a qualified tradesperson.
Progressional roles show a salary range spanning two classifications. Appointment will be made at the level appropriate to skill and fulfilment of required criteria.

Rockville State School is a welcoming primary school located just 5km north of the Toowoomba CBD.
Established in 1922, our school has maintained a tradition of providing quality education to the local community and currently caters for around 200 students from Prep to Year 6.
We celebrate the rich diversity of our students, many of whom come from Aboriginal and migrant backgrounds.
Our school motto, “A Great Place to Learn" reflects our commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.
