Painting Apprenticeship - 1st to 4th Year

Statewide Apprenticeships is partnering with a highly regarded commercial painting host employer to recruit multiple Painting Apprentices, from 1st to 4th Year, for immediate commencement.

Working on a variety of commercial projects, including Defence-related sites, this is an excellent opportunity to build your skills with an employer who values quality workmanship, safety and professional development.

Whether you've already started a painting apprenticeship (Out of Trade) and are looking for a new opportunity, or you're keen to start your career in the trade, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As a Painting Apprentice, you will learn all aspects of the trade while working alongside experienced professionals, including:

• Surface preparation and finishing

• Applying paints, coatings and protective finishes

• Working with a variety of products and application techniques

• Maintaining tools and equipment

• Following workplace health and safety procedures

• Working across commercial construction and maintenance projects

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• A genuine interest in the painting trade

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Good communication skills

• The ability to work well within a team

• A commitment to workplace safety

• Reliability and a positive attitude

Essential Requirements

• Current White Card

• Current National Police Clearance

• Ability to meet Defence site access requirements

• Driver's licence and reliable transport highly regarded
