Warehouse Operator

Your Impact

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Asahi team as a Warehouse Operator at our Heathwood Distribution Centre.

Working in a fast-paced FMCG warehouse environment, you'll play a key role in accurately picking and preparing customer orders to ensure our products are delivered safely and on time. Using voice-picking technology and material handling equipment, you'll contribute to a high-performing team while maintaining quality, safety and operational standards.

Please note: This position is currently operating on day shift (6:00am - 2:00pm); however, flexibility to work alternative shifts as required to meet business needs is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick customer orders using voice-picking technology and EPJs
• Build, wrap and prepare pallets for dispatch
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products and packaging meet required standards
• Safely handle stock, including damaged goods and glass products
• Follow GMP, warehouse procedures and safe work practices
• Report hazards, incidents and safety concerns
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
• Support team objectives and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll bring previous warehouse or order picking experience, along with:

• Experience working in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Previous voice-picking experience or exposure to warehouse management systems
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and quality
• A strong commitment to safety and following established procedures
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work proactively
• A positive attitude and ability to work effectively within a team
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills
• The physical capability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks
• A current Forklift Licence is advantageous but not essential
