The Role

A once in a lifetime opportunity for Personal Trainers who are passionate about delivering the highest level of fitness and operational programming to Higher State - Melbourne Airport as we open and expand into the area.

This is an exciting time for Higher State - Melbourne Airport as we look for an inspiring, energetic, motivating Personal Trainer to join the team. We are looking for someone who has experience in Designing, Programming and running Small Group Functional Training classes and has a proven Personal Training record.

The right applicant needs to have flexible working hours and have weekend availability. 

Skills & Attributes:

• A demonstrated commitment to customer service and well developed communication skills
• Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course.
• Qualification in relevant class type e.g. Boxing, Kettlebell, Pilates etc
• Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia 
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate 
• Current CPR Certificate 
• Working with Children's Check
• Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
• Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Hours may increase during the centre's peak periods

The Venue 

The Higher State is located within the Novotel & ibis styles Melbourne Airport, a new dual-branded, 464-room hotel opening on 1 July 2024.

The Novotel Melbourne Airport with 248 rooms, and ibis Styles Melbourne Airport with 216 rooms, will be located just steps away from Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport. Guests will enjoy access to a fitness centre, conference rooms, pool, co working space and a number of food & beverage venues which form the hub of the mixed-use precinct.

This will be a village centre supporting the airport community as a place to gather and socialise for everyone who travels and works from the airport precinct.
