About the RoleWe are seeking a Systems Development Specialist – Event Operations to join our ICT team and play a key role in the ongoing development, optimisation and support of QPAC's Event Management System, Momentus Elite.
Reporting to the Head of Information Communication and Technology, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand operational requirements, identify opportunities for process improvement, and deliver technology solutions that support QPAC's event operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Event Management System, developing integrations between business platforms, delivering reporting and analytics solutions, and implementing workflows and automation that improve efficiency, data quality and user experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced systems professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, solving complex business challenges and delivering practical technology solutions that create meaningful operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, maintain, develop and enhance QPAC’s Event Management System (Momentus Elite).
Develop secure integrations between business systems to improve data sharing, data quality and operational efficiency.
Design and deliver dashboards, reports and analytics solutions that support operational and strategic decision-making.
Develop workflows, automation solutions, applications and tools that extend system capability and improve business processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to understand operational requirements and translate business needs into practical system improvements.
Provide technical advice, troubleshooting and ongoing support to users.
Contribute to system upgrades, testing, change management and futures strategic initiatives.
You are a collaborative and solutions-focused systems development professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver practical, user-focused technology solutions.
You will bring:
A relevant Information Technology qualification and/or equivalent industry experience.
Experience developing and supporting business-critical applications and systems.
Strong development skills across C#, .NET and SQL-based environments.
Experience with Microsoft Azure technologies, databases, APIs and system integrations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify operational challenges and develop effective solutions.
Well-developed communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with Event Management Systems, particularly Momentus Elite, will be highly regarded
