Seasonal Casuals

Gilmac is Australia's leading hay exporter, responsible for one quarter of all Australian hay exports, with major markets in Asia.  Testament to our rapidly growing business, we have 6 Hay Processing plants across 3 states.  Casual seasonal positions are available for sample prep and crop inspectors at our Balaklava processing plant. 

Principle responsibilities include:

• Oversee the physical and administrative receival and dispatch of hay from site, conducts weighbridge receivals & dispatch, moisture checking of bales and storage/scheduling.

• Conduct hay crop inspections.

• Prepare and dispatch quality assurance samples.

• Ensuring self and others comply with Gilmac values of safety, quality and OHS policies and procedures.

Successful applicants will:

• Have Microsoft Office experience.

• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug screen.

• Have flexible availability during harvest.
