ELLIATT is an Australian contemporary womenswear brand specialising in modern occasion wear, designed for women who want to feel confident, feminine and considered. We are a global brand stocked in retailers such as Nordstrom, Revolve, Bloomingdale’s, Dillards and Myer, along with a thriving global direct to consumer Ecommerce business.As we enter our next phase of global growth, we are looking for an exceptional Head of Product and Design to lead and evolve our Product Department and play a key role within our senior leadership team.This highly influential role manages a team and reports directly to the CEO and works closely with the leaders of Sales, Marketing, Digital, Operations and Finance to ensure our product strategy is commercially strong, creatively relevant and aligned with the business's overall direction.
The Role:As Head of Product, you will lead a team and have end-to-end leadership of the product function — from product strategy, range architecture and design direction through to development, critical path and commercial performance.You will lead, mentor and develop the Product and Design team, establishing a high-performing culture ensuring the department operates with creativity, clarity, accountability and pace.You will be responsible for translating the ELLIATT brand vision and customer insights into compelling, commercially successful collections across our global markets.Oversee the end-to-end product development process from concept through to final production approval.Ensure the team delivers against development calendars, launch deadlines and commercial priorities.Work closely with suppliers and production teams to maintain quality, cost and sampling expectations.Executive LeadershipReport directly to the CEO and contribute to broader business growth strategy.Work collaboratively with the senior leadership team across Sales, Marketing, Digital, Operations and Finance.Provide clear reporting, recommendations and commercial insights to the CEO.Take ownership of the product function as a key driver of the company's future growth.
About You:We are looking for a strategic, commercially minded and highly creative product leader who is ready to make a significant impact within a growing global fashion business.You will ideally have:Significant experience leading Product, Design, Merchandise or Product Development within fashion.Proven experience managing and developing a high-performing team.Strong commercial understanding of range architecture, pricing, margin and product performance.A sophisticated understanding of the contemporary womenswear and occasion wear customer.Strong creative judgement and an ability to protect and evolve a brand's design identity.Exceptional organisational and critical-path management skills.The confidence to operate at senior executive level and influence across departments.Strong analytical and decision-making skills.Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management abilities.A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing business.
