We are expanding our team at Simply Helping Loddon Mallee.Share your caring nature with our team and your community.
We are currently looking for Cert 111 qualified support workers to support participants around the local and surrounding areas. Simply Helping provides in-home care, aged care, disability care and support services to enhance quality of life and improve lifestyle. We appreciate that each person we support has varying requirements and individual goals. Join your team and help us provide the best possible care for participants of all ages who may be:

• Elderly and finding everyday tasks are becoming too difficult.
• Living with disability and require ongoing support.
• Injured and require assistance while they recover.
• Finding it difficult to engage in the activities of daily life.
• Unable to transport themselves to various appointments.
• Using our services as a lifestyle choice.

As a Support Worker, you deliver a range of services to participants and clients assist them with independent living in their own home whilst promoting the continuation of a fulfilling and meaningful life within the community. You provide assistance with many aspects of daily living including personal care, domestic activities and meal assistance whilst promoting social and community participation.
This is a hands-on role, suitable for active individuals who can perform general manual handling duties as required by the nature of the role.

- You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with empathy, patience and dedication with a passion for providing excellent care.
- Minimum Cert III Aged Care or Individual Support/Disability or Nursing students post first placement.
- Ability to work in community/homecare environment

- Support clients to appointments and out and about in the community

- Working with Children’s Check (Requirement)
- Police Check (Requirement)
- First aid Level 2 and CPR (Requirement)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Requirement)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (Requirement)

Pay: $28.00 – $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 15.0 per week
