Visual Arts Teacher

Wenona is seeking an experienced and passionate Visual Arts teacher to join the Visual Arts Faculty and inspire our young women through dynamic classroom practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance.

The Position

• Ability to inspire students and contribute to academic excellence.
•   Demonstrated excellence in teaching practice, including curriculum differentiation.
• Proven ability to deliver contemporary, inquiry-based learning experiences.
• Strong skills in planning and implementing authentic assessment to inform learning.
• Commitment to student wellbeing and the educational needs of girls and young women.
• Collaborative approach to teaching, professional learning, and effective use of technology to enhance engagement.

This is a temporary, part-time role for Term 4 2026.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will hold relevant qualifications in teaching Visual Arts with current NESA accreditation and demonstrate strong knowledge of the NESA curriculum. You will bring a passion for engaging students through dynamic and rigorous learning. You will understand and be committed to meeting the educational needs of young women, while working collaboratively within a team environment and supporting the values of Wenona as you undertake your role.
