Part-time (Monday to Friday / 25 hours a week)

We are looking for a caring and dedicated Kitchenhand who

• Takes pride in supporting a busy kitchen and helping prepare nourishing meals for children.

• Assists with daily kitchen tasks including cleaning, and maintaining a safe and hygienic workspace.

• Help with the preparation and serving of meals as part of the KGFs program, ensuring quality and consistency.

As our Kitchenhand superstar, you’ll be the friendly face helping keep little tummies full and big smiles shining! You’ll help serve up delicious, child-friendly meals and snacks, making mealtimes smooth, safe, and full of joy. Every part you play helps create a warm, happy space where children feel safe, supported, and ready to learn, laugh, and grow. No two days are the same, but they’re always full of heart!

What you’ll need:

• Food Handling Certificate

• Proven experience as a kitchenhand/ kitchen support

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care (Preference)

• Current & Valid Working with Children Check

• Mandatory National Child Safety Training

• Monday to Friday availability 

• First Aid and CPR certificates including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

• Experience in dietary and allergy safe requirements.
