IT Portfolio Manager

The Role

Bega Group have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced IT Portfolio Manager to join our IT team. Reporting to the Head of IT Portfolio Management, you will play a key role in enabling the successful delivery of Bega Group's enterprise technology portfolio. Working in a fast-paced and evolving environment, you'll drive portfolio governance, demand management, prioritisation, reporting, and roadmap coordination while partnering with stakeholders across the business to support informed investment decisions and successful portfolio outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage technology demand intake, governance processes, stage gates, and portfolio decision records to ensure effective portfolio oversight

• Maintain and prioritise the portfolio backlog, aligning initiatives with strategic objectives, value, risk, and delivery capacity

• Coordinate integrated technology roadmaps and delivery updates, supporting sequencing and portfolio planning activities

• Prepare governance materials, portfolio reports, insights, and performance data to support leadership decision-making

• Manage portfolio-level risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies while driving continuous improvement across portfolio practices

About You

• Proven experience in portfolio management within a technology delivery environment

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting capabilities, with experience using data and AI-enabled insights

• Commercially minded, with experience supporting budgets, forecasting, business cases, and investment decisions in large-scale corporate or enterprise environments

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority

• Collaborative, proactive, and outcomes-focused, with experience working across complex and cross-functional technology environments.
