Disability Support Worker

H1 Healthcare is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our dedicated team supporting a participant in Preston Vic and surrounding area (Up to 50 kms)

If you're looking for ongoing, stable employment, minimum 2- 8-hour shifts, and the opportunity to build a genuine, long-term relationship with one participant, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a valued member of our support team, you'll play an important role in assisting the participant to live as independently as possible while promoting choice, dignity, and quality of life.

Your responsibilities may include but not limited to:

·       Personal care

·       Manual handling

·       Medication assistance

·       Supporting daily living activities

·       Domestic assistance and meal preparation

·       Community access and appointments

·       Encouraging independence and achieving individual goals

·       Building a positive and trusting relationship with the participant

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

·       Compassionate, patient and reliable

·       Experienced supporting participants with complex care needs

·       Confident with personal care, manual handling and medication assistance

·       A strong communicator who enjoys building meaningful relationships

·       Passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred support

Essential Requirements

·       Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

·       National Police Check

·       Current First Aid & CPR

·       Current Driver's License and reliable vehicle (preferred)

·       Working With Children Check
