Are you an enthusiastic, confident and reliable Maths Cover Supervisor looking to support learning across a high‑performing secondary school in Epping? This fantastic opportunity offers you the chance to step into a key classroom role, guiding students, maintaining routines and ensuring Maths learning continues smoothly in the absence of the class teacher.
As a Maths Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre‑planned Maths lessons, uphold behaviour expectations and create a calm, purposeful environment where students feel supported and ready to learn. This school is known for its strong leadership, respectful culture and commitment to academic progress — making it an ideal setting for a Maths Cover Supervisor who wants to grow, gain experience and make a real impact.
Deliver pre‑prepared Maths lessons across KS3 & KS4
Maintain positive behaviour and consistent routines
Support students with Maths tasks, problem‑solving and classwork
Build strong relationships with staff and learners
Ensure a structured, focused learning environment every day
Is confident managing a secondary Maths classroom
Brings energy, reliability and a proactive attitude
Can adapt quickly to different year groups and abilities
Enjoys supporting students’ progress and confidence in Maths
Holds strong communication skills and a calm, consistent presence
