Full time Cleaner

About the role

Proactive Cleaners Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full Time Cleaner to join our growing team in Melbourne VIC 3000. This is a full-time position where you will play an essential role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our clients' facilities. As a key member of our cleaning services team, you will contribute directly to creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments that our clients depend on. Your work will be fundamental to upholding Proactive Cleaners' reputation for excellence in the cleaning services industry.

What you'll be doing

• Performing routine cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising of Common area of the site (No residential Cleaning)

• Emptying waste bins and disposing of rubbish in an environmentally responsible manner

• Cleaning and maintaining bathrooms, Lounge rooms, Steam room, Sauna, Gym, and other facilities to the highest hygiene standards

• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, following all health and safety guidelines

• Restocking cleaning supplies and reporting when supplies are running low

• Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues or damage to facilities

• Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanour whilst representing Proactive Cleaners

• Adhering to scheduled cleaning routes and timelines to ensure efficient service delivery

• Collaborating with team members to complete larger cleaning projects

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in cleaning services or a similar role is highly desirable

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards

• Physical capability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderately heavy items

• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

• Reliable and punctual with a professional work ethic

• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

• Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Willingness to follow health and safety protocols and company procedures

• A current driver's licence is advantageous

• Ability to work flexibly, including early mornings or late afternoons as required
