Civil Supervisor

About the role

Manage the allocated plant, materials and human resources to meet key project timelines for assigned projects. You will manage the job site on a day-to-day basis, liaise with all subcontractors to ensure completed works meet required specifications, and work in conjunction with the Project Manager, Estimators and Engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the allocated plant, materials and human resources to meet key project timelines for assigned projects
• Liaise with all subcontractors and ensure completed works meet the required specifications
• Ensure that workers adhere to Applied Groups safety policies and procedures at all times, whilst maintaining quality standards
• Adhere to allocated budgets and KPIs for projects monthly and flag any issues
• Participate in site audits, client meetings, signoffs, safety inspections and other requirements at appropriate stages for each project
• Manage job site on a day-to-day basis
• Delegate daily responsibilities
• Ensure project documentation and administration is completed as required
• Maintain equipment to ensure it remains serviceable, clean, tidy, and safe for operation
• Perform other general duties as required

About you

• Experience in civil construction environments in a supervisory capacity, with a focus on commercial work
• Organised and capable with high professional standards
• Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
• Focused on health and safety
• Ability to travel for regional based projects
