About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our talented team at Coldstream Brewery in Coldstream, Victoria. As the Sous Chef, you will be working closely with the head chef and small team, fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position, that provides support in all aspects of the business we are very much about team effort no one gets left behind.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting head chef in day to day running of kitchen

• Assisting head chef and team in the preparation and cooking of a wide variety of dishes

• providing good work ethic towards stock control and portioning

• running of the kitchen in the absents of the head chef

• Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained

• Participating in menu planning and development

• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

• Providing excellent customer service to our patrons

What we're looking for

• A passion for food and cooking

• Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to step up when needed

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• A positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
