About the Role

Are you a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys solving problems and supporting users across a dynamic global business? We are looking for a Regional IT Support Engineer to join our Melbourne team at Hallam and provide technical support to users across the ANZ region.

Reporting to the Group IT Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day IT needs of end users across the region. You will provide onsite and remote technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, collaborate with global IT teams, and help maintain a secure and reliable technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for end-user devices and applications across the APAC region.
• Manage and resolve IT support tickets in line with global IT standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
• Assist with identity and access management processes and collaboration platforms
• Support cloud, infrastructure, backup, patching, and system update activities.
• Work closely with vendors, regional teams, and global IT colleagues to deliver effective solutions.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness and ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
• Contribute to process improvement, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Qualification and experience

• Degree qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar technical role.
• Experience working with ITSM platforms and ticketing systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, endpoint devices, Azure, and Active Directory environments.
• Experience supporting remote desktop and virtual environments.
• Exposure to cloud technologies and cybersecurity principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• A proactive, customer-focused approach and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
