Role Status: Full-time temporary vacancy available until 30 June 2027
Remuneration: ASO8 ($130,046 - $134,956) plus 12% superannuation
Join our ICT Directorate as Enterprise Architect and provide strategic leadership across the Department for Child Protection’s (DCP) technology landscape. Based in the Adelaide CBD, this role offers the opportunity to influence technology direction, lead architectural capability and support the delivery of secure and reliable ICT services.
You will be responsible for:
Leading the development and evolution of enterprise architecture to support organisational objectives
Shaping future capability through architecture models, standards and governance practices
Leading a team of architects and building strong partnerships across the organisation
Providing expert advice on technology direction, transformation initiatives and solution design
Developing architecture frameworks that align business needs with ICT priorities.
To be successful:
You will bring experience leading enterprise-wide architecture and developing architectural models that support future needs. You will understand how to translate organisational goals into practical architecture approaches that guide change and enable better outcomes. You have a strong understanding of security standards and the ability to apply this knowledge to support effective governance.
Combined with your technical expertise, you will know how to lead and develop a high-performing architecture team. You can build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide trusted advice that helps shape technology direction across the organisation. You will communicate complex technical concepts clearly and confidently to a range of audiences.
You will be comfortable working through challenges and developing solutions that support reliable, secure ICT services. Your ability to collaborate and influence others will help drive continuous improvement across DCP.
