We are seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager to oversee aged care refurbishment projects.

In this role, you will be managing all on-site activities to ensure projects are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

You will be coordinating trades, subcontractors, and suppliers while maintaining a clean, and productive work environment. Your ability to lead by example, communicate effectively, and resolve issues will be key to the success of each project.

This role requires a hands-on professional with a strong understanding of site environments, particularly in sensitive settings like aged care, where minimising disruption and maintaining strict safety and cleanliness is essential.

As we stock most of our supplies at our warehouse in Northgate, when setting up jobs, you will be required to load up and distribute to sites throughout the day.

• Lead Operations: Manage day-to-day site activities, coordinating trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.

• Timeline & Scheduling: Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain the construction program, ensuring milestones are met and proactively organising resources and subcontractors ahead of schedule.

• Quality & Compliance: Maintain high workmanship standards across all stages of the project. Ensure works comply with industry regulations, including the NCC and relevant Australian Standards. Address and close out defects promptly.

• Safety & WHS: Uphold a strong safety culture on site. Monitor compliance, manage risks, and ensure a safe work environment in operational aged care settings. Keep the site organised, clean, and professional always.

• Input & Reviews: Participate in early-stage reviews of scopes and programs to provide on-site insight.

• Project Reporting: Support project administration by maintaining records, updating site documentation, and contributing to weekly progress reporting.

• 5 years’ experience in Construction (commercial/residential)

• 1-2 years’ experience in similar role (Site manager/Foreman)
