Production Assistant

OzShut Roller Shutters is WA's leading Roller Shutter company based right here in Malaga, Perth. OzShut completes all custom made orders locally with a 5 day installation turnaround!

With approximately 130 employees and contractors, OzShut Roller Shutters is in the next phase of planned growth.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the role of Production Assembly involves assembling roller shutters in out Malaga Factory.

Applicants should possess mechanical aptitude and have power / air tool experience.

This position is CASUAL and is based at the Malaga factory. Hours of work would vary day to day but when rostered be 6.30am – 1pm. The finish time would vary depending on the work load but usually not later than 5pm. Saturday work is also included which is a half day in busy times (Overtime rates payable) WEEKLY PAY. This role may become full time to the right applicant and after 12 months as per the award.

Full training will be provided; experience in roller shutters would be well regarded but is not essential. Work experience in similar industries and/or in a factory environment is advantageous.

Applicants should also possess a current open Driver's License (Manual) as doing deliveries is essential in our fleet of trucks.
