The hospital operates Monday to Friday only.

About the opportunity

We are seeking an experienced CSSD Manager to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

This role is responsible for establishing, organising and operationalising the CSSD department within the hospital environment. You will ensure best practice sterilisation standards at all times, while leading and supporting the CSSD team in line with the hospital’s values and expected behaviours.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, support and motivate the CSSD team to achieve high performance

• Ensure compliance with sterilisation and infection control standards

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the department

• Foster effective communication and positive working relationships

• Maintain accuracy in documentation and data entry

• Exercise sound judgement and decision-making in daily operations

About you

• A commitment to continuous improvement and quality outcomes

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of disinfection and sterilisation standards

• High attention to detail and organisational skills

• Reliability, professionalism and accountability

Essential criteria

• Current Certificate III in Sterilisation Services or equivalent

• Demonstrated management or supervisory experience

• Minimum five years’ experience in a sterilisation environment is desirable

• Full working rights in Australia
