The OpportunityWe're seeking an experienced Solution Architect to provide end-to-end architecture leadership on a significant application environments program for a Federal Government client in Canberra. You'll be responsible for ensuring application environments, platforms, integrations and supporting services are designed, secured and delivered to the highest standard.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and maintain end-to-end solution architecture across environments, platforms and integrationsLead design and endorsement of architecture artefacts, including Azure Landing Zones, CI/CD pipelines, API management, data integration, IAM/RBAC and environment provisioningTranslate endorsed designs into implementation-ready technical requirements and work packagesProvide architectural oversight through configuration, implementation, testing and transitionReview vendor and engineering deliverables for compliance with approved architecture and security standardsSupport design governance, technical assurance and resolution of cross-stream issuesMaintain architecture decision records, dependencies, risks and design traceability
About YouProven experience as a Solution/Technical Architect delivering complex enterprise ICT or cloud transformation programsStrong hands-on Azure design experience (Landing Zones, networking, security, platform services)Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Secure SDLC, API Management and data integration (ADF)Experience designing IAM, RBAC, Entra ID and privileged access modelsDemonstrated experience producing HLD/DLD documentation and gaining architecture/security governance endorsementStrong stakeholder management skills, able to engage executives, engineers and vendors alikeAustralian Government experience, with an active NV1 clearance (required)
