Mechanical Fitters

Baltic Group are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our site shutdown team for continuous CHPP Maintenance works in the Bowen basin!

• Mechanical Fitters:

$70 p/hr Dayshift

$75 p/hr Nightshift

• Immediate Start 

• Additional training & upskilling offered

About the role: 

• Back-to-back CHPP shutdowns 

• Floating Crew work

• Lifestyle Roster work 

• Mackay based work - Sugar Mills 

• Servicing various sites from BHP, Glencore, Thiess, Peabody & More

• Drive in Drive out 

• Suitable for personnel based in Mackay & surrounding areas 

Successful Applicants: 

• Australia recognized Trade Certificate 

• Current Driver's License

• Current Coal Board Medical 

• Current Standard 11 

• Current Site Inductions (highly desirable) 

• Gas Test Atmosphere (highly desirable)

• Working at Heights (highly desirable)

• Confined Space (highly desirable)
