The exciting opportunity as our Clinical Nurse Manager:

• Additional role being introduced to strengthen clinical overnight and provide more support to staff
• Shared clinical responsibility of our beautiful 135 bed Blue Haven aged care home in Kiama
• Provide sound clinical leadership; mentor and support the multidisciplinary team to achieve high-quality care
• Oversee data collection, review clinical indicators and support the introduction of continuous improvement initiatives to maintain accreditation compliance
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with residents and their families, address feedback and deliver exceptional customer service
• Uphold an environment where safe, effective, and high-quality care is delivered to our aged care residents, and their needs are consistently met
• Contribute to clinical risk and medication advisory meetings to ensure best practice care is provided

About you:

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA and experience working in a Senior Registered Nurse, Specialist or Manager role, ideally in residential aged care
• Approachable, influential, outcomes driven leader who drives a culture of collaboration and best practice
• Sound understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and accreditation requirements, with a proven ability maintaining compliance in clinical practice
• A calm, composed, resilient, passionate team player with a positive attitude
• Committed to person-centred, relationship-based care, consistently upholding the dignity, respect, and individual preferences of older people
