We are seeking an experienced Chef/Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team on a full-time, ongoing basis. This is an exciting opportunity to build your career with a respected local venue. Supportive and professional team environment within one of Warrnambool's leading hospitality destinations. Task & responsibilities Prepare and cook meals in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards. Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation and portion control.

Assist with menu planning and seasonal menu development. Maintain food safety, hygiene and WHS standards. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.

Minimise food wastage and maintain cost-effective kitchen practices. Work efficiently during busy service periods. Assist in training and supporting junior kitchen staff.

Qualification & experience A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Chef or Cook in a busy commercial kitchen. Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (preferred but not essential where sufficient experience can be demonstrated). Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations and food safety requirements.

Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.
