The role The Major Account Manager –JCB focuses on developing and maintaining relationships across an established portfolio of major accounts at a State level. You’ll spend most of your time servicing the Top 10 major accounts, encompassing market‑leading rental businesses with national footprints and selected major industrial and infrastructure companies. The role is responsible for ensuring they receive an exceptional customer experience alongside uncovering new opportunities for growth. Alongside managing these accounts, you’ll also prospect rental businesses to generate new business, offering a great chance to sharpen your commercial instincts and build confidence in B2B sales. This role is ideal for a sales professional at any stage of their career: from a recent graduate to a sales pro, or maybe you are someone ready to step from customer service into a sales engineering pathway.
How you will do this?
- Spend time on‑site, over the phone, and face‑to‑face with customers to understand their needs and shape practical solutions.
- Nurture strong, long‑term relationships with major rental businesses, ensuring they’re supported with consistent, high‑quality service.
- Reach out to new business contacts and open conversations about the JCB product range, building confidence in early‑stage prospecting.
- Dive into the JCB lineup and discuss mechanical features in a way that translates into clear customer value.
- Work closely with internal teams to uncover opportunities that support business expansion and strengthen our market presence.
