Job Description

Artforms WA is looking for a Welder / Fabricator / Fitter to join our Public Arts and architectural fabrication manufacturing team. Artforms WA is a group of highly-skilled tradespeople who work primarily in public art, helping deliver artist’s impressions, into the real world.

This role would suit someone who enjoys varied work, taking on technical challenges, and working in a small-team environment. The majority of our manufacturing is done with steel and aluminium.

Key Responsibilities

• Welding and fabrication of steel, aluminium, and other materials
• Working from drawings, sketches, and verbal direction
• Producing high-quality custom and one-off pieces
• Workshop-based manufacturing, with occasional on-site work
• Working alongside designers, artists, and fabricators on diverse project.

Skill & Experience

• 2 Years experience as a welder / fabricator
• Welding experience in MIG / TIG / Stick
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Good attention to detail and workmanship
• Reliable, motivated, and safety-concious individuals
