At Coogee Bay Hotel, we are passionate about delivering extraordinary guest experiences and creating a positive, high-performing team culture. We are looking for an experienced Duty Manager who shares our commitment to operational excellence, guest service and strong leadership.

The Duty Manager is a hands-on, fast-paced role responsible for supporting the safe, compliant and successful operation of Coogee Bay Hotel.

About the role:

• Drive extraordinary guest experiences and consistently high service standards.

• Lead and maintain compliance across the licensed premises.

• Oversee day-to-day venue operations, prioritising and delegating operational requirements as required.

• Provide clear and effective communication across departments and teams.

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team.

• Promote and maintain the safety and security of guests, employees and all venue stakeholders.

• Provide visible leadership across the venue and ensure operational standards, policies and procedures are consistently maintained.

About you:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Duty Manager role within a licensed venue.

• Experience working within a large, multi-faceted hospitality venue.

• Proven ability to manage high-pressure, fast-paced and high-volume operations.

• A confident and effective communicator with strong leadership skills.

• Exceptional guest service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality and venue operations.

• Passionate about team development, coaching and building a positive workplace culture.

• Strong food and beverage product knowledge.

• Holds a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency.

• Holds, or is willing and eligible to obtain, Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) competency.
