The Role
We're looking for a commercially minded Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team based in Mentone. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, collaborating across multiple functions and influencing business decisions through accurate forecasting and planning.

Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, you will be responsible for managing forecasting and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes across your product portfolio. Your main duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

• Own and maintain customer demand forecasts across an 18-month planning horizon using Blueshift.
• Lead monthly forecast review meetings with Sales, Marketing and Commercial stakeholders.
• Analyse trends, customer insights and market activity to improve forecast accuracy and reduce forecast bias.
• Partner with Supply Planning to ensure inventory and inbound supply align with forecast demand.
• Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and cross-functional decision making.
• Monitor demand for new product launches, national promotions and key customer activations.
• Develop supply recovery plans with Supply Planning and communicate priorities across the business.
• Track forecast performance, inventory levels and customer service metrics including OTIF.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve forecasting processes and planning capability.

The Person
You'll be an analytical and collaborative planner who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders to achieve the best business outcomes.
 
You thrive in a fast-paced FMCG environment and can confidently influence decisions using data and commercial insight.
You'll ideally bring:

• Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning or Forecasting within FMCG or Manufacturing.
• Strong forecasting and analytical capability with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working with ERP and forecasting systems (Blueshift experience highly regarded).
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to balance competing priorities and make sound commercial decisions.
• A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement focus.
