About the Role 

We are seeking a motivated and Fitter to support our Raisebore operations and ancillary fleet at Ernest Henry Mine. This hands-on role will see you performing a broad range of mechanical maintenance activities across both workshop and underground environments.

Working as part of a high-performing maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability through planned maintenance, repairs, breakdown response, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities 

• Perform scheduled maintenance, servicing, fault finding and breakdown repairs on heavy mobile plant and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and repair or replace components to ensure equipment reliability and operational performance.
• Maintain plant and equipment in accordance with site procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete maintenance documentation, inspections, pre-start checks, oil sampling, and reporting requirements accurately and on time.
• Promote a strong safety culture by identifying and managing risks, participating in safety meetings, completing JSAs/Safe Stops, and reporting incidents, hazards, and near misses.
