FINANCE INTERN (GRADUATE)

ENTRY LEVEL CANDIDATE.  This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a commercial environment and make a real difference in the business.

This is a broad role offering both accounting and month end related activities as well as driving all shared service functions.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

• Completion or completing towards Bachelor of Finance or a related degree

• High attention to detail

• Must be driven and motivated to see tasks through to the end.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Accounts payable duties including processing and verifying supplier invoices for payment (both stock and non-stock)

• Provide support the Accounts Payable officer as required

• Reconciling corporate credit card statements

• Accounts receivable duties including allocation of cash receipts against invoices

• Assist the Credit Controller with chasing aged debtors and other AR related tasks as required

• Assist with completion of bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts

• Ensuring accuracy with data entry

• Prepare customer sales reporting and submit to the Finance Manager

• Provide support with the creation of costing packages to ensure correct PO’s are linked and matched correctly for each inbound shipment

• Assist with responding to finance related queries from both internal and external stakeholders

• Other tasks as requested and directed by management
