Air Conditioning Apprentice | 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th Year Apprentices Welcome

Proven Air Conditioning & Electrical is looking for an Air Conditioning Apprentice to join our team.

We're open to apprentices at any stage, whether you're just starting or already a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year looking for a change.

Our work is mainly residential and covers service, fault finding, repairs and installations, so you'll get a good mix of work and the chance to build your skills across all areas of air conditioning.

THE ROLE

Depending on your experience and apprenticeship year, your work will include:

• Split system installations

• Ducted air conditioning installations

• Servicing and maintenance

• Fault finding

• Repairs and component replacement

• Testing and commissioning

• Electrical testing related to air conditioning

• Speaking with customers

• Keeping jobs neat and organised

• Learning how to identify problems and recommend the right solution

As you improve, you'll be given more responsibility and the opportunity to take on more of the job yourself.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for someone who:

• Wants a long-term career in air conditioning

• Can communicate well with customers and the team

• Is comfortable working with their hands

• Wants to improve their technical skills

• Can take on more responsibility as they progress through their apprenticeship

You'll need:

• Australian driver's licence, or be working towards one if you're a junior 1st year

• Construction White Card

• Current apprenticeship enrolment if you're already an apprentice

ALREADY AN APPRENTICE?

If you're currently an apprentice but feel like you're spending most of your time doing the same installation work and aren't learning enough service or fault finding, we'd be interested in speaking with you. We want our apprentices to finish their time confident across installations, servicing, diagnostics and repairs, not just one part of the trade. 

CAREER PROGRESSION

There are plenty of options once you're qualified. You can continue developing as a technician, move further into service and diagnostics, step into leadership or eventually move into sales or other off-the-tools roles.
